Area Description:

Canggu is famous for its many beautiful beaches. The village is also well-known for it black, sandy beaches which are especially popular among surfers. Some of the waves you’ll find on Berawa Beach and Echo Beach in particular can be fairly challenging. Canggu town itself is about 20 kilometers north of Seminyak. But, the whole Canggu beach area is just called “Canggu”. Basically, it extends from Berawa in the south to Cemagi in the north. Even though it’s just one stretch of sand (around 8 kilometers long), the beach is in “sections” starting at Berawa, then Batu Bolong, (Old Man’s), Echo Beach and Perenenan.
